Longboard Woodcut & Prints

Everybody has passions and hobbies outside their work. For me, one of these passions includes longboarding. This board design combines imagery of koi fish as a yin-yang, a rose, and a personal circle mark to represent the peace and energy one experiences when doing something they love. The design was first hand-carved into a longboard, then coupled with woodcut and monotype techniques to produce 12 prints with variations on the center rose.
